To expand sales of the conversion of existing heavy-duty trucks with diesel engines to zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell technology, Markus Körner (53) has joined the Clean Logistics team. After training as a vehicle mechanic and subsequently studying to become a mechanical engineer, Mr Körner worked for many years in leading positions in the service and sales of commercial vehicles, from vans to heavy-duty trucks, for MAN Truck & Bus and Daimler AG.
Mr Körner will use his market knowledge and experience to find certified partners to convert large numbers of trucks to HyBatt trucks with a hydrogen hybrid drive. HyBatt truck prototypes 1-5 and pilot production vehicles 6-30 will be manufactured at eCap in Winsen (Luhe), Germany. Starting in 2021, the series-production vehicles will be converted at selected partners with kits supplied by Clean Logistics to meet the anticipated high demand with over 600,000 heavy-duty trucks on Germany's roads alone.
