- Delivery of two HyBatt trucks still in 2022
- Clean Logistics supports new innovative utilization model from hylane
Hamburg, April 13, 2022: Clean Logistics SE (ISIN DE000A1YDAZ7) has signed a delivery contract for two HyBatt trucks with DEVK subsidiary hylane. The two tractor units ("40-ton trucks") of a well-known German manufacturer, converted from conventional diesel drive to emission-free hydrogen drive, are to be handed over to the customer before the end of 2022.
hylane places environmental protection at the heart of its exclusively climate-friendly vehicle rental business. The company offers hydrogen trucks with various superstructures and internals. Through a usage-based rental, in what is known as the "pay-per-use model," customers pay only for the actual miles they drive. All services, except driver and fuel, are included in the rental.
"We are very pleased about the cooperation with hylane. On the one hand, hydrogen-powered tractor units are now rapidly hitting the road. On the other, hylane's business model gives freight forwarders and commercial users the opportunity to test this new generation of forward-looking vehicles in real operation simply and straightforwardly without any great risk. We are convinced that this is an important step for the acceptance of hydrogen-powered vehicles and will thus further drive the upcoming decarbonization of the transport sector", comments Dirk Graszt, CEO and founder of Clean Logistics on the conclusion of the contract with hylane.
