Hamburg, October 29, 2021: Clean Logistics SE (formerly operating as SendR SE, ISIN DE000A1YDAZ7), technology leader for the conversion of diesel-powered buses and tractor units to zero-emission hydrogen-powered vehicles, has published its half-year financial statements for 2021. The business figures for the first half of the year are based on the operations of SendR SE, whose shell company Clean Logistics acquired in August 2021. In the reporting period, the net loss was approximately -0.26 million euros.
The change of name of the listed SendR SE to Clean Logistics SE, which was resolved by the Annual General Meeting of SendR SE on July 15, 2021, was entered in the Commercial Register by the Hamburg Local Court on August 25, 2021. The strategic focus of Clean Logistics is on the conversion of conventional diesel-powered heavy-duty tractors and passenger buses to hydrogen-powered vehicles. In this way, the company is making an important contribution to the decarbonization of the transport sector.
Since then, the company has achieved important milestones in its corporate history and developed in line with its own ambitious expectations. Clean Logistics has, among other things, handed over the first HyBatt bus, Europe's first converted bus in local public transport with fuel cell hydrogen drive, to Uckermärkische Verkehrsgesellschaft (UVG) and concluded a binding letter of intent with the town of Winsen (Luhe) for the purchase of a commercial property on which the company plans to build a new production hall with a usable area of 10,000 square meters. With the construction of the hall, Clean Logistics will significantly expand its conversion capacities of buses and tractor units.
Clean Logistics also plans to hand over the second HyBatt bus to UVG in the second half of 2021. In addition, Clean Logistics is currently in the final development phase for the prototype HyBatt truck, which is scheduled for completion in late 2021 / early 2022 and will then enter a test phase. Clean Logistics expects to incur further start-up costs as planned in the second half of the year to support the planned growth of the company.
