To expand sales of the conversion of heavy-duty existing trucks with diesel engines to zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell technology, Markus Körner (53) joins the Clean Logistics team. After training as an automotive mechanic and subsequently studying to become a mechanical engineer, Mr. Körner spent many years in leading positions in the service and sales of commercial vehicles, from vans to heavy trucks, for MAN Truck & Bus and Daimler AG.
Mr. Körner will use his market knowledge and experience to find certified partners to convert large numbers of trucks to HyBat trucks with hydrogen hybrid drive. HyBat truck prototypes 1-5 and pre-production vehicles 6-30 will be manufactured at eCap in Winsen (Luhe). The series-production vehicles will be converted by selected partners from 2021 using kits supplied by Clean Logistics in order to meet the expected high demand with over 600,000 heavy trucks on Germany's roads alone.
